Meet our Senior Management Team


Duncan Gooding

Restore Datashred Managing Director

Duncan has worked in the IT services industry for over 25 years, working his way up from a telephone graduate to more recently helping run a multi hundred million B2B business for TalkTalk where he helped implement a strategy that utilised and consumed propositions and services. He has joined Datashred as Managing Director, where he will be overseeing the team that runs the shredding business unit for Restore PLC. 

When not in the office, Duncan is a born and bred Hertfordshire, man who lives with his wife and two teenage children, and will be most likely found walking the dog or playing squash.


Debbie Pugh

Deputy Managing Director

Debbie is Commercial Director of Datashred, with overall responsibility for the performance of the business. Debbie has 17 years of experience with Datashred and is passionate about delivering a great service to our customers. She is proud to have led the team through two consecutive successful Servicemark accreditations from the ICS.

In her spare time Debbie enjoys running, great food and spending time with her husband and children. She is a serial home improver and is currently studying interior design.


Barry Saitch (FCCA)

Finance Director

Barry is Datashred’s Finance Director, and an ACCA-qualified accountant with over 17 years’ experience working for various business types and turnovers, across a number of sectors, including FMCG, hospitality, food wholesale trading and shipping.

In his spare time, Barry plays football and golf and indulges his interests in cycling and photography – when he can find time around his young family.


Denyse Thompson

Divisional Head of HR at Restore Datashred

Denyse brings over 20 years of operational and HR management knowledge and expertise from a range of private, public and charity sector organisations. She is passionate about partnering with the business in providing sound HR solutions, continuous improvement and exceptional customer service.

Away from work, Denyse is busy with family, sport and socialising, involving three children, five pugs and a netball team!


Adam Burden

Head of Risk & Compliance

Adam is the Head of Health and Safety and Compliance at Restore Datashred and brings 30 years' experience in operations, logistics and managing across a range of different business types and industries. He enjoys working in a team of colleagues who all have the same goal: providing the best possible customer service.

In his downtime you might find him striding the fields and valleys of Hampshire and Dorset clay pigeon shooting, or turning his hand to a spot of woodworking in his home workshop.
